Good question, and I don’t think it’s simple at all.

In my personal opinion, evil does have a conscience, but it’s ill-defined. It’s like you just have a moral compass that points the wrong way. If you’re truly evil, you’ve got to believe that what you’re doing is actually good.

I don’t know Oren- I think if you are doing something evil but in fact believe that what you are doing is right and just…then what this comes down to is a question of perspective. What is evil or “wrong” to one person is “good” to another. I would have to say that something is more evil when you know that it is wrong and do it anyways. So maybe evil has a conscience but what makes it evil is that you ignore it and do wrong anyways.

Great question though – makes us all think. Ahmad, are you a big Blue Jays fan? I don’t see too many of those logos on the site!

our conscience always tells us what is right and what is wrong, it is like a very dim voice in our hearts saying that this is wrong. Whenever we do a good dead we feel satisfied in a strange way, at the same time when we do something wrong we try to cover it up logically that its ok. Everybody do it. So, evil has a conscience but it is always overturned by logic and practicality.
